Former England cricketer Marcus Trescothick to talk about his life in the game and dealing with mental health problems in sport - 18 February
The Former England and Somerset cricketer Marcus Trescothick will talk about his life in the game and the challenges of dealing with the mental health problems in sport – Monday 18th February in London.
Marcus played in 76 Test Matches and 123 One Day International’s for England in a career spanning more than two decades. He will talk about how he became a master of his craft at the highest level in spite of his much publicised inner adversities, including his decision to return home during the 2006/7 Ashes series in Australia, highlighting the rarely talked about problem of player burnout.
He will be joined former England Captain and Kent cricket legend Chris Cowdrey who will compere the evening.
Following the talk, there will be an opportunity for questions and photos with Marcus and Chris.

Timings: 6.00pm Networking, canapes and welcome drink. The talk will start at 6.45pm followed by questions.
