Rugby legend James Haskell to talk about his career, the mental challenges of the game and England’s chances in the forthcoming world cup - 16 September
The former England and British and Irish Lions player, James Haskell will talk about his career, the mental challenges of the game and England’s chances in the forthcoming world cup – Monday 16th September at the Bluebird in London.
James played in 77 international matches for England’s first team and 22 for the B team, or England Saxons. In 2015 he joined Stuart Lancaster’s world cup team and was named as the 'man of the series' during England's 3-0 series victory over Australia the following year.In 2017, he was part of the British and Irish Lion’s tour of New Zealand which saw the series drawn in a thrilling final game in Auckland.
James also had a distinguished club career, clocking up 268 first team games, including nearly 200 appearances for Wasps.
He will be joined by former England and Kent cricketer Chris Cowdrey who will compere the evening.
Following the talk, there will be an opportunity for questions and photos with James and Chris.
Date: Monday 16th September 2019
Timings: 6.00pm Networking, canapes and welcome drink. The talk will start at 6.45pm followed by questions.
